One Call Now acquires company, adds staff

DAYTON — Troy-based One Call Now, a message notification provider, has completed its ninth acquisition, bolstered its executive staff and added new sales and support jobs, the company said.

The company acquired Telebroadcast Alert Inc., a broadcast messaging company for homeowner associations. Tom McDonald, the founder and CEO of Telebroadcast, joined One Call Now’s sales department and will focus on property management clients in Georgia and Florida.

One Call Now also added Mary McCaffrey to its board. McCaffrey is the former CEO of THiNQEd and also served as president of the schools systems division of NCS Pearson.

Brian Ferrar has been named chief operating officer of the company. And One Call Now has added 15 employees in sales, client services, accounting and development. Most are based at the company’s headquarters, the company said.
