The buildings — 6500 and 6520 Poe Avenue — have a combined occupancy of about 28 percent, said Sharon Konkler, a senior associate with NAI Dayton, a commercial real estate firm.
The new owners plan to make improvements such as repainting the building’s exterior and upgrading its parking lot, Konkler said.
In October 2009, The PrivateBank and Trust Co. filed a foreclosure lawsuit against Indu Mital and Rajesh Mital, both of West Bloomfield, Mich., as well as three limited liability companies, according to Montgomery County Common Pleas Court documents.
PB Real Estate, a holding company for PrivateBank, bought the property through a sheriff’s sale, according to court records.
In addition to leasing space in the buildings, PB Real Estate also has put the property up for sale, Konkler said.
