Private school expanding again in Springboro

CinDay Academy, a private school in Springboro, is expanding again.

On Wednesday, the Springboro Planning Commission will review the school’s request for rezoning for expansion at North Main Street and Sycamore Creek Drive. The school wants to expand onto 7.3 acres on North Main (Ohio 741) between Eleanor and Sycamore Creek drives.

Gina Pangalangan, owner of the school, has requested the rezoning and proposed a general plan that would allow for the continued operation of the private school and its expansion to the north in an office building recently acquired by the school, according to city records.

Also the commission is to review plans for a 25,014-square foot office building next to the Shiver Security Systems office in the Ascent office campus, off I-75 on West Tech Road in Springboro.

In addition, Dryden Builders is seeking approval to construct a 8,042-square foot retail building in the Village Park planned development, across Ohio 741 from Settlers Walk, for the relocation of Springboro Wine & Spirits and another tenant immediately to the south of a another building, where Donatos and Verizon are tenants.

The commission is also scheduled to review the final plan for the Sanctuary at Springboro, an assisted-living facility on 13.3 acres at 8683 Clearcreek-Franklin Road.
