Reynolds, Alternative Source reach settlement

The Reynolds and Reynolds Co. announced Monday that a copyright infringement suit against Alternative Source has been settled.

Kettering-based Reynolds develops and sells information management systems for automobile dealers.

Alternative Source provides business forms and supplies to automotive dealerships.

Terms of the settlement were not disclosed.

“We’re pleased to have resolved this ongoing dispute about improper use of Reynolds’ copyrighted and protected business forms,” said Jerry Kirwan, Reynolds Document Services’ senior vice president and general manager.

Reynolds has more than 4,300 workers worldwide, including about 1,300 at its Kettering headquarters and 400 at its documents production division in Celina, Ohio.
