Sabre’s data warehouse expansion accommodates an increase in the number of system users, data types and the increasing demand for business intelligence to support Sabre solutions that help carriers make money, save money and improve customer service.
MIAMI TWP., Montgomery County — Teradata Corp. said Thursday, May 27, that Sabre Holdings, which sells distribution and technology products for the travel industry, has expanded its multi-terabyte Teradata Active Enterprise Data Warehouse. The data warehouse serves Sabre as a database repository supporting many critical business decisions.
“The Teradata system provides data warehousing technology enabling Sabre to create data-driven solutions like the Executive Dashboard and reporting tools for airlines, helping them to enhance their customer service capabilities and improve revenues,” said Jim Barlow, senior vice president of Passenger Solutions for Sabre Airline Solutions.
