State offers procurement webinars to Ohio businesses

The Ohio Development Services Agency will host a “Subcontracting for Success” webinar series to help Ohio companies learn how to secure contracts with state businesses that provide goods and services to the federal government, according to a media release.

“The webinar series will educate Ohio businesses on the procurement process and will help them develop contacts with large companies,” said David Goodman, ODSA director, in a statement.

Officials said the free webinars will connect Ohio businesses with Procurement Technical Assistance Center counselors and buyers across the state. The procurement centers help Ohio businesses seeking to compete for federal, state and local government contracts. They provide a variety of services at no cost for Ohio businesses, including one-on-one counseling.

ODSA and the Ohio Procurement Technical Assistance Centers network will present five webinars from December through February, in partnership with Lockheed Martin, Battelle and Fluor B&W. For registration or more information, visit the website at http://development.ohio.gov/bs/bs_ptacwebinars.htm.
