Women’s clothing, accessories retailer to close at local mall

A women’s clothing and accessories store is reportedly closing at the Dayton Mall.

Rainbow Shops in the Dayton Mall is offering 50 percent off the lowest ticket prices on store items. Signs outside the said “Closing This Store” and “All Sales Final.” This news organization has reached out to the Rainbow Shops corporate staff to see when the store will close.

Rainbow Shops sell women’s clothing, juniors clothing and plus-size items. It also carries shoes and accessories. There are also store locations in the Westown Shopping Center at 4291 W. Third St., and the Northtown Shopping Center at at 4223 N. Main St.

Rainbow is headquartered in Brooklyn, New York, and has more than 1,000 locations in the U.S.

The Dayton Mall and the Mall at Fairfield Commons are owned by Columbus-headquartered Washington Prime Group. The Dayton Mall encompasses more than 1.4 million square feet and its major stores include Macy’s, Elder-Beerman, Forever 21 and Victoria’s Secret.
