Yaskawa Motoman’s MyMotoman to be shown at IMTS 2012

Yaskawa Motoman, a global robotics manufacturer headquartered in Miamisburg, will feature cloud-based machine monitoring products powered by IGear at the International Manufacturing Technology Show from Sept. 10-15 in Chicago.

Louisville-based IGear Online provides cloud and mobile machine monitoring software technology for the manufacturing industry.

The MyMotoman products show that the global manufacturing marketplace is adopting cloud and mobile technologies to better analyze and improve production performance and heighten the response to machine failures, said Don Korfhage, IGear’s president and chief executive.

“MyMotoman enables our customers to achieve a higher level of performance with their Motoman robots,” said Steve Barhorst, president and chief operating officer of Yaskawa America’s Motoman Robotics division.

Motoman Robotics employs about 300 people locally.
