Dozens of tires dumped on Greene County roads; sheriff’s office investigating

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office is investigating multiple incidents of tires being dumped on county roads, including more than 30 tires that were left on the side of two roads between Monday night and Tuesday morning.

Twenty-six tires were dumped on Garringer Road in Silvercreek Twp., and 12 tires were dumped on Smith Road in Caesarscreek Twp., according to the sheriff’s office.

“[It] appears someone in a pickup truck is driving [with] someone in the back throwing tires out,” read a Facebook post on the sheriff’s office’s page.
