Pitt, who also has a best picture Oscar for his work as a producer on the 2013 film "12 Years a Slave," started off his acceptance speech Sunday with a jab at last week's impeachment hearings.
"They told me I only have 45 seconds up here, which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week," Pitt began.
He then praised "Once Upon a Time" director Quentin Tarantino and co-star Leonardo DiCaprio before giving a shout-out to his children.
"This is for my kids, who color everything I do," Pitt said. "I adore you."
