White-Allen will select five teams of two to compete in five challenges located throughout Dayton, according to the contest website. The five challenge stops include the Boonshoft Museum of Discovery, Woodland Cemetery, The Dayton Art Institute, Carillon Historical Park and Kil-Kare Raceway. The filmed challenges will air on social media and WhiteAllen.com. The city of Dayton will vote for a winner, so be sure you're as entertaining as possible.
People interested in participating must submit an “entertaining” video explaining why they should be selected to compete for the cash prize. The more creative, the better, according to the contest rules.
The video should include:
1. Who you are and where you’re from.
2. How you and your teammate know each other.
3. What you love about the city of Dayton.
4. What you would do with $10,000.
“What I really want to get across is that this is no purchase necessary contest,” said Tim White Jr., president of White Family Companies. “It’s a way to get people out and having fun running around and exploring Dayton, Ohio.”
Teams selected to participate must be available to compete on Thursday, June 13. The winners will be announced in late August, based on accumulated points garnered in both the challenges and viewer’s votes.
Video submissions for Dash for Cash should be emailed to dashforcash@whitecars.com. Visit whiteallen.com for more information.
