In a career that started in 1992, Lawrence has had two gold records, two platinum records and two double platinum records with more than 8 million records sold total.
He’s recorded 22 Top 10 singles, with 17 No. 1 singles among them.
His first hit was “Sticks And Stones” in 1992, and followed that with songs including “If The World Had A Front Porch,” “Stars Over Texas,” “Time Marches On,” “Is That A Tear,” “If You Loved Me” and most recently in 2007, “Find Out Who Your Friends Are.”
His biggest hit, which also was a huge music video, was “Paint Me a Birmingham” in 2003.
This spring, Lawrence released “The Rock,” an inspirational country album.
“My mom and dad have been coaxing me for years to record an inspirational country CD. I promised them I would, but kept pushing it off because it just didn’t ‘feel’ like the right time,” he said on TracyLawrence.com.
Chris Matuszak, a manager at J.D. Legends, said Lawrence performed at the venue last year and had a great time.
“We had him last year and a big part of him coming back is he loved the way it was set up,” Matuszak said. “He loved the intimate setting.”
Tickets for the concert range from $17.50 to $80. The lowest priced tickets are for general admission, first-come-first-served seats.
VIP seating at $80 includes a private table, your own waiter and bartender and a buffet. The biggest perk is the meet-and-greet with Lawrence.
