Nat and Alex Wolff, stars of the popular television series “The Naked Brothers Band” on Nickelodeon, bring their summer tour to Kings Island next week.
Nat, 14, and Alex Wolff, 12, are promoting their latest album, “I Don’t Want to Go to School,” which was released in April. They also will be performing songs from their 2008 self-titled debut album.
The Naked Brothers series is currently in its third season and depicts the life and struggle of a world famous rock band.
Their father in the series is played by their real-life dad, jazz musician Michael Wolff.
Their mother, actress Polly Draper, who played career woman Ellyn Warren on the TV series “thirtysomething,” wrote and directed the original “The Naked Brothers Band” movie, and is credited as creator of the TV series.
“The Naked Brothers Band” is a family-friendly spoof on rock films — a sort of “Spinal Tap” for preteens — with the brothers breaking up with their old band, forming a new one, fighting Alex’s addiction to lemon-lime soda and becoming world-famous.
“Alex and I are excited to be coming to Kings Island this summer,” Nat Wolff said in a press release. “We’re looking forward to putting on a great show for our fans and getting on some of those cool rides. We can’t wait to ride Diamondback!”
