Fraze Pavilion has been undergoing changes and is set to open for the 2015 season.

With a new competitor in the concert venue business in the Miami Valley now open, the Fraze Pavilion is set to open its doors Wednesday for the first time in 2015 with a new look.

The Fraze will host the Kettering Block Party from 6-8 p.m. tomorrow with the Kettering Concert Band performing at 7 p.m. City and Fraze officials will cut the ribbon to the Fraze’s new entrance and light tower at 6 p.m.

In addition to the improvements to the entrance of the Fraze, the fountains outside of the Fraze in Lincoln Park have been upgraded with new features including a patio area and performance stage that will appear to float.

Free hot dogs will be given to those in attendance at Wednesday’s gathering, and children aged 5 to 16 can get sized for a new bike helmet.

Fifty events are planned for the Fraze this summer, which is experiencing stiff competition for performances from the Rose Music Center that opened last month in Huber Heights.
