You know who doesn’t find Dave Chappelle fun?
The controversial “I Believe I Can Fly” singer, who has been accused of sexual abuse, allegedly wanted to fight Chappelle, a near Yellow Springs resident, “Chappelle Show” co-creator Neal Brennan said during an interview with “The Breakfast Club” on Tuesday
Chappelle famously lampooned R. Kelly with the sketch music video embedded below.
Kelly, the subject of the Lifetime docuseries “Surviving R. Kelly,” was indicted in 2002 on child pornography charges after a video surfaced in which a man prosecutors said was him urinated on a 14-year-old girl.
In 2008, Kelly was acquitted of all charges related to the case.
“R. Kelly wanted to fight Dave,” Brennan told The Breakfast Club. “Literally, his goons stepped to Dave in Chicago and Dave’s goons intervened. The goons negotiated.”
Kelly has repeatedly denied allegations of sexual misconduct.
