On Sunday, Dec. 22, Miss May I presents their first annual holiday show, Relentless Eve, at The Brightside in downtown Dayton. Like Moths to Flames, A Burden To Bear, and Deadculture will kick off this highly anticipated homecoming concert.
Since Miss May I’s meteoric rise, they’ve been unable to perform back home in the Dayton area. There simply hasn’t been a venue large enough for this type of rock show. When The Brightside opened this spring, with its voluminous warehouse style space and incredible sound system, the roadblock to a hometown show was removed.

It was serendipitous timing for the band, too. Lead singer, Levi Benton, recently moved from Los Angeles back to Cincinnati to start a family. In October, his wife, JoJo, gave birth to their first child, Jaxx Valentine. Being back in the area, surrounded by family, seemed like the ideal time to do a hometown show.
The band is also using this event to give back to the Dayton community. Fans are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to donate, and in return will get free Miss May I merch at the show. Even better, the toys are scheduled to be delivered to Dayton Children’s Hospital after the show, just in time for Christmas!
