>> What to know about Dayton’s relationship with one of Germany’s oldest cities
“Last year was such a great event we knew that we wanted to bring the Sister City back,” Emily Mendenhall, owner of Lily’s Bistro said. “Food and drink are a great way to share a cultural experience and at the Soiree you get to do that while helping out a great cause!”
Tickets include one drink ticket, appetizers, along with tax and tip for $35 with $15 from each ticket will be donated to the Dayton Sister City's organization for The Dayton Sister City Committee Scholarship Fund.
The mission of the Dayton Sister City Committee is to provide community leadership, promote Dayton internationally, and to increase global awareness of Dayton residents through developing and maintaining active Sister City relationships.
“The scholarship fund is set in place to help students from Dayton participate in the exchange program who might otherwise be unable to,” Mendenhall said. “Having been fortunate enough to travel myself, I know how meaningful these cross-cultural experiences can be.”
