Hairless Hare Brewery in Vandalia will host its 6th Anniversary celebration from noon to 11 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, and from all indications, it will be all about the beer.

The brewery is not planning an elaborate series of events Saturday, but instead, focused on the special beers it will release that day, including some gems “out of the cellar:” a 2016 Barrel-Aged Barley Wine, 2017 Barrel-Aged Barley Wine, a 2018 “General Nikolai Bomikoff” collaboration brew with Springboro’s Crooked Handle brewery, a 2018 Barrel-Aged Baltic Porter, and a 2019 Russell’s Barrel-Aged Cold War.

Hairless Hare opened its Vandalia brewery at 738 W. National Road in 2013. It is in the midst of an aggressive expansion project in which the brewery took over the lease of an adjacent tenant, adding more than 3,000 square feet and more than doubling its footprint, Hairless Hare’s owners have said.
