Dorothy Lane Market anniversary ice cream social benefit

Dorothy Lane Market’s Anniversary Ice Cream Social is still happening today, but the focus has shifted.

Today from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., all DLM locations are celebrating the store’s 71st birthday, and 100 percent of the proceeds from each sundae purchased will be donated to The Dayton Foundation’s Dayton Oregon District Tragedy Fund.

Each store has an ice cream social setup either in-store or out in the parking lot. Vanilla is the flavor of the day and people can choose what toppings they would like on top.

DLM has three locations:

- 2710 Far Hills Ave., Oakwood

- 6177 Far Hills Ave., Dayton

- 740 N. Main St., Springboro
