The Oregon District Business Association will hold its fourth annual Independence District Day from noon to 6 p.m. Saturday, July 6.

Nautical Theme will perform from noon to 3 p.m. and Isicle will perform from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.
Natalie Skilliter, the Oregon District Business Association's treasurer, said about 25 vendors will be on site to sell crafts, jewelry and other items, and there will be a beer truck.

Several Oregon District businesses will also sell items on the street as part of the free event.
“The whole idea is to have a street fair vibe in the Oregon District,” Skilliter said.

“It will just be crowds and eating and drinking and being merry,” Skilliter said.
The street will be blocked to traffic between Pine and Jackson streets.
A stage will be set up between Ned Peppers Bar, 419 E. Fifth St., and the EPA building, 401 E. Fifth St.
The band Nautical Theme will perform from noon to 3 p.m. and DJ Isicle will spin music from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m.

Admission is free.
Oregon District fans should market their calendars for the business district’s next big event, Taste of the Oregon District on Sept. 15.
