Shop for a worthy cause at the Sugarplum Festival of Trees

You just might find the perfect holiday gift and support Dayton Children’s Hospital at the annual Sugarplum Festival of Trees this weekend.

The Sugarplum Festival of Trees will showcase a spectacular array of trees on display open to the public Saturday 9 a.m.-3 p.m. and Sunday 9 a.m.-1 p.m. with boutique shopping, raffle baskets, tree bidding (until 1 p.m. Sunday), a kids shopping corner (Sunday from 9 a.m. to noon only), and nutcracker sweets available.

Admission to the main event is free. There are a few bonus events that have an admission charge.

Friday night, a snowball cocktail party at 7 p.m. will feature heavy hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar, auctions, raffles and bidding with some buy now prices for $100 per person.

Saturday will include a special sugarplum tea at 11 a.m. for the whole family with finger sandwiches, scones, a cash bar and raffles for $50 for adults and $20 for children. During this event, the kids shopping corner will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Sunday, the weekend will wrap up with a breakfast with Santa for $35 per adult and $20 per child. The kids shopping corner will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The event is coordinated by the TWIGS Auxiliary of Dayton Children's Hospital. All proceeds support transformed behavioral health services at Dayton Children's.
