Calling all golf aficionados! The Oregon District Barstool Open is welcoming participants to its 18th annual indoor miniature golf outing.

This year, 10 bars will be participating in the indoor golf event on Saturday, Nov. 9.

Each team of four is expected to pay $140 for their participation in the event. Proceeds of the Open help local children and adults with disabilities at United Rehabilitation Services. Teams of four participate in the 9-hole, 10-bar indoor miniature golf outing throughout the Oregon District. Shotgun begins at 11 a.m. and the event ends at 5:30 p.m. The objective is to complete as many holes as you can by 5:30 p.m.

Teams who wish to be eligible for prizes must complete at least nine holes by 5:30 p.m. and turn in their scorecard to a URS volunteer. The URS volunteer will then take your best score of nine holes (if 10 were completed) to determine the winner.

Prizes will be given for Best Team Score and Most Creative Team Costumes.

WHAT TO KNOW IF YOU PLAN TO GO

“You must report to the bar you chose when you registered to complete registration and receive your Scorecard at the event, beginning at 10:30 a.m. Teams signing up the day of the event will be expected to pay the increased fee and must register at the table outside Blind Bob’s. Teams are responsible for bringing their own putter and balls. Food is included with your registration fee and will be available at all bars. Drinks are not included. No refunds will be given once a team has submitted payment. All teams are required to have a Designated Driver to take them home from the event. ... You will begin playing at the bar you registered at.”

Currently, the following bars have reached full capacity and are no longer expecting registrations: Crafted & Cured, Dublin Pub, The Troll Pub at the Wheelhouse, and Trolley Stop.

HOW TO REGISTER

Registration is available online or by downloading the Registration Form and returning it with payment to one of the participating bars or URS.
