Run by the Book Fair Foundation, the 49th annual Dayton Book Fair is still one of the the largest book sales in the state, featuring more than 50 tons of donated books, all sorted and arranged on tables by hand. This year, you can pick up your next literary masterpiece between Friday, Nov. 8 and Monday, Nov. 11 at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds.
The proceeds from 2019’s sales will be split evenly among three groups: Community Action Partners, the Greater Dayton LGBT Center, and the Dia de Muertos festival.
>> WORTH THE DRIVE: Shop, sip and snack at hundreds of specialty booths at huge holiday market
Visitors can also look forward to the book fair’s special literary sections: aviation, model railroading, chess and Will Rogers.
