“We decided to offer take-home kits in response to our regular guests requesting something to do while staying home, especially with kids” Raise Your Brush owner Laura Carter explained. Being a parent and a former middle school art teacher gave Carter the experience and inspiration to come up with these DIY kits.

“Being an art teacher by trade, I wanted to come up with things that families could do without going to a class. We put a no-contact pickup procedure in place, and created step-by-step instructional videos to watch from home. Best of all, we still offer bottles of wine to-go so parents can "sip" while kids paint!”

Along with the Wood Pallet Sign Kits for kids, the studio is also offering Wine Bottle Painting, Wine Glass Painting, Paint Pour, and Wood Pallet Signs classes as a creative distraction for adults, too. What a fun idea for couples looking to create an at-home date experience! They've also got a Henna kit for those who've been curious about the ancient body art.
Raise Your Brush is located at 169 N. Main St. in Centerville. Daily "no contact" pickup: 2 p.m.-4 p.m. (until further notice). Next-day pickup is available for orders placed before 5 p.m. Orders placed after 5 p.m. may be picked up two days later. Children’s Kits $8 (4 for $30); Adult Kits $16-$25.
