Kettering resident Theodore Hale was spared from a hit from any of the 15 tornadoes that struck the region on Memorial Day.

But the avid cyclist couldn’t ignore the damage they caused, or the struggles of those who were directly impacted.

Hale explains why he raised nearly $1,200 for victims of the Memorial Day tornadoes via the Greater Dayton Disaster Relief Fund established by the Dayton Foundation. Listen to his story in the podcast above.
