You will need
Items I purchased:
• Large picture frame — $5.60 at Hobby Lobby
• Natural wood rectangles — $2.99 at Pat Catan’s
• Scrapbook Paper — 59 cents at Michael’s
• Two pieces of felt backing — 79 cents each at Hobby Lobby
Items I already had:
• Green acrylic paint
• Gorilla glue or glue gun
• Scissors
• Pencil
• White paper
• Sharpie marker
• Clothes pins
• Paintbrush
• Plastic cup
Directions
1. Take seven clothes pin and place them around the rim of a plastic cup. This will make it easier to paint them. Use your acrylic paint and paint the seven clothes pins. Set aside and let dry completely.
2. Take your felt and glue it to the back side of your frame. Let dry completely.
3. Take seven of your wooden rectangles and trace them around the back side of a piece of scrapbook paper.
4. Cut out the traced rectangles and glue them to the wooden rectangle.
5. Using white paper, cut out seven squares.
6. Use your magic marker and write the days of the week onto each white square. Glue these white squares onto your scrapbook paper.
7. Glue the wooden rectangles to the ends of your clothespins.
8. Once everything is dried, glue your clothespins down the left side of the inside of your frame. You will glue them directly to your felt.
9. Once your clothespins are secure, cut out strips of white paper with your dinners for the week. Place each strip of paper on the day you plan to make that meal.
10. Hang up your board on the wall and you are ready for the week.
