DIY under $10: Scarf rack costs about $1 to do

Lately I am seeing more and more women accessorize with scarves. If you are like my sister, then you have tons of scarves taking up space in your home. They are tucked away in drawers, hanging in your closet and placed wherever you find a spot for them.

I have come up with an easy way to organize your scarves in one location, and it only costs you about $1 to do. It is simple, quick and is a great way to get organized as part of your spring cleaning!

Supplies needed

Items I purchased:

• 12 pack of shower curtain rings — $1 at Dollar Tree

Items I already had:

• Plastic hanger

• Scarves

Directions

1. Remove the shower curtain rings from their packaging and place each one around the bottom rung of your hanger.

2. Lock them in place so there are no openings within the rings.

3. Once your rings are all in place, loop a scarf through each ring.

4. Continue doing the previous step until all of your rings are hung up.

5. Hang it in your closet and you are organized in no time at all.

Tip

If your rings are sliding back and forth, making your hanger uneven, simply buy another pack or two of curtain rings. If you fill up the entire rung of your hanger with rings and then hang your scarves evenly across the hanger, you won’t have to deal with them getting off balanced and sliding to one side.
