Jolly’s Drive-In in Hamilton opens Ohio 4 location

Jolly’s Drive-In on Ohio 4 in Hamilton has opened for its 88th season today.

The drive-in, known for its footlong hotdogs and root beer floats, is one of two Jolly’s in the city. The other stand is on Brookwood Avenue, and that location has not yet announced its opening date. Last year, it opened a little more than a week later than the Ohio 4 location.

Jolly’s is a beloved Hamilton staple and has remained virtually the same since it first opened in the spring of 1937. The drive-in is open seven days a week for 40 weeks of the year.

In 2022, scenes were recorded for the Hollywood film “The Bikeriders” at the Brookwood location.
