“The Chrysler family, after having long-term majority control of Kil-Kare, has sold its stock, yes,” said Rick Chrysler, who plans to stay on as vice president and general manager. “(Dave) has plans on improving the facility. ... We’re planning on a fantastic season this year.”
Charlson meet-and-greet: Drew Charlson, fresh off his second-place finish in the ARCA Series race at Daytona Speedway, will join racing fans at Speedway Lanes in New Bremen to watch the Daytona 500.
The viewing party starts at 4 p.m.
The race will be followed by a showing of the Lucas Oil Slick Mist 200. Charlson, 19 and a New Bremen native, finished second to eight-time Daytona winner Bobby Gerhart in that ARCA race Feb. 18. It was Charlson’s first Daytona appearance and second ARCA start.
“To finish second to one of the best racers ever at Daytona is simply a dream come true,” Charlson said after the race. “I am so thankful that Aluma Trailers, AgriGold Seed Company, Amsoil Synthetic Oil and Heitkamp Crop Insurance joined as sponsors. Without them, we wouldn’t be here.”
