Is there a greater purpose that transcends attending worship services on a weekly basis? The Dayton School of Supernatural Ministry (DSSM) has a mission to bring the people of God into a greater revelation about the assignment to bring heaven to earth. The Beavercreek campus of The Vineyard will be hosting a 12-week ministry school beginning Sept. 15.
“There are Supernatural Ministry Schools taught all across the nation. The classes seek to impart the culture of the Kingdom of Heaven toward transformation and revival into every sphere of society, through God’s manifest love, presence and power,” said Steve Bowen, Vineyard community outreach pastor. “Each school has world-class leaders who train and activate the students into personal and cultural transformation within their sphere of influence.”
Speakers scheduled for The Vineyard include: Robby Dawkins, senior pastor of Aurora Vineyard and author of “Do What Jesus Did”; Ruth Fitzpatrick of Bethel Activation Ministries; revival pastors Jane and Greg Moore of Believing Jesus Ministries/Schools of the Supernatural. The Moores are affiliated with the Bethel Church in Redding, California.
Also scheduled are DVD sessions with Bill Johnson, senior pastor of Bethel Church; Banning Liebscher, founding pastor of Jesus Culture; and Christy Wimber with clips of the Vineyard Movement founder, “Best of John Wimber Doin’ the Stuff.”
Additionally, the church is tentatively holding a special session Dec. 22 with special guest speakers Heidi and Roland Baker of The Rising Light. This is the first session of the first year of hosting DSSM classes for The Vineyard.
First-year students will be transformed by the renewing of their minds as they are instructed and activated through the teaching of international and regional guest speakers and authors who actively walk in all the gifts of the Spirit. Sessions are divided by subject matter, and are specifically selected to impart a confidence and skill set that helps students become world changers and history makers.
These sessions provide an important foundation for living a supernatural life, covering topics such as “Power of the Testimony,” “Hosting and Releasing His Presence,” and “Supernatural Courage” and “Mission Impossible.”
According to the web site, DSSM develops leaders who are confident in all of the spiritual gifts including prophetic, healing and deliverance. The sessions focus on training students how to live a supernatural lifestyle. The leaders want the participants to understand how to host His presence, represent and release the love of Jesus to our region and beyond.
Classes are in session quarterly. Registration can be accomplished online or by calling the Vineyard church office. Childcare for potty-trained toddlers through the fifth grade costs $50 per child per 10-class session. Childcare needs must be listed on your registration form.
“We hope the students will tangibly experience the love and goodness of Jesus, and it will change their lives,” Bowen said. “We want them to become agents of God’s love and care to help transform their family, church and community.”
The Vineyard has two campus locations, Beavercreek and Dayton. Weekend service times at Beavercreek are 5:30 p.m. Saturday, and 9 and 11:15 a.m. Sunday. The Dayton campus is located at 1222 N. Main St. It has one service only, 10 a.m. on Sunday.
There are also two north locations for Supernatural Ministry Schools. The Living Word Church in Vandalia has a Supernatural Ministry School scheduled for Monday evenings that has already begun for this term. The Springfield Riversong Church is holding Kingdom Culture Supernatural School on Sunday and Monday evenings. It will be led by Stephen Bell starting Sept. 8.
