D.L. Stewart exclusive: Video airs a tweet wedding ceremony

Because I’m a sucker for romance, I can’t resist passing along a link to a touching video that popped up on Facebook yesterday.

The scene is a wedding at an unidentified outdoor venue, possibly a Speedway gas station parking lot or somewhere equally romantic. The bride and groom are standing before the officiant, who is saying something about love, until death to they part or whatever.

In the midst of his remarks the bride, overcome with emotion, reaches into the bodice of her lovely white gown, pulls out a cellphone, slips it under her veil and begins to tap away on the screen. There is, unfortunately, no way of knowing what, or to whom, she is tapping. Possibly it’s a tweet to her BFF saying, “I’m sooo overcome with emotion.” Or, perhaps, “OMG, this guy’s talking forever.” Or maybe she’s just checking baseball scores.

Whatever it us, once you’ve clicked the link and seen the video, I’m sure you’ll want to join me in passing along best wishes to the bride.

And condolences to the groom.
