A man is in custody and a woman was injured in a shooting following a domestic dispute in Dayton on Monday.

Crews responded to reports of a shooting victim walking into a local hospital before 8:45 p.m., according to Sgt. Roberta Bailey with the Dayton Police Department.

Bailey said police found a 49-year-old woman with a gunshot wound to her back and the suspected shooter, a 49-year-old man, drove the victim to the hospital.

She said both individuals were listed in non-life-threatening condition.
