Bellbrook city manager and finance director Melissa Dodd has been hired as the incoming Fairborn finance director, Fairborn city manager Rob Anderson confirmed.
She will join the staff in mid-August.
Anderson said Fairborn’s current finance director is planning to retire next year.
“Finance is a pretty important position and we wanted there to be a meaningful transition between the current director and Melissa,” Anderson said.
Dodd’s starting salary will be $114,420 per year.
It is not clear who will replace Dodd as Bellbrook city manager. The job was posted on Wednesday.
Dodd said she will remain in her position until July 30.
