Coronavirus: Greene CATS offers free rides to vaccine appointments

Greene CATS Public Transit is offering free transportation to COVID-19 vaccination sites for all Greene County residents.

According to a release, residents can request a trip up to 30 days in advance, but must request the ride at least 24 hours ahead of their appointment and by noon the day before.

Other trip reservations take reservations up to two business days in advance by noon.

Greene County Mobility Manager Shannon Webster said the free rides were due to additional funding from the Ohio Department of Transportation.
