A crash report revealed new details about a fatal crash in an Amazon facility’s parking lot near the Dayton International Airport earlier this month.

Brandon Doss, 54, died at Miami Valley North Hospital, according to Montgomery County Coroner Dr. Kent Harshbarger.

Shortly after 7 a.m. on Dec. 4, a crash was reported at the Amazon facility at 3134 Lightner Road.

Doss was driving a van in the parking lot when he lost control of the vehicle for an unknown reason and hit the back of a cargo van, according to a crash report by Dayton police.

The first van hit a traffic island and went over it. It drove over another traffic island and struck multiple bollards and a vehicle charging station before the van overturned.

No other injuries were reported, according to police.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

We will continue to update this story as details are released.
