Firefighters are battling a house fire Monday night in Kettering.

Crews were called to the 1400 block of Melrose Avenue, which was evacuated before firefighters responded, according to a social media post from the Kettering Fire Department.

The fire was reported at 8:20 p.m., according to a Kettering dispatcher, and was reported extinguished around 9:10 p.m. by the Kettering Fire Department on social media.

There were no injuries, the fire department said.

We are working to learn more about where inside the house the fire started and its cause.
