Dayton Children’s Hospital reopened Kids Express West Chester Twp. beginning July 20.

Kids Express is an innovative concept in pediatric-focused health care that combines the convenience of a retail clinic approach and online scheduling with the pediatric expertise of a specially trained nurse practitioner.

The location at 7787 Cox Lane opened in February and was closed temporarily in April due to COVID-19.

Kids Express, which is open seven days a week, offers both in person and video visits. The Kids Express experts see children ages 6 weeks to 18 years old for everyday issues such as seasonal allergies, sinus infections, pink eye, strep throat or ear aches.

”We know that parents are busy and need options,” said Deborah Feldman, president and CEO of Dayton Children’s in a release. “We also know that when their child gets sick, many times they already have a pretty good idea what is wrong. We wanted to give them an option for care that they can trust is kid-focused but is also easy and fast.”

Safety continues to be the top priority at Dayton Children’s, and this includes its Kids Express locations in West Chester Twp. and Springboro,
