A 60-year-old Dayton man was killed over the weekend in a single-vehicle crash in Dayton.

Lawrence Winston was identified Monday as the crash victim by Montgomery County Coroner Dr. Kent Harshbarger.

Winston was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer east on West Washington Street near South Perry Street around 6 p.m. Saturday. He apparently lost control of the Trailblazer, drove over a curb and hit a metal traffic light pole, according to a crash report.

His cause of death was multiple blunt force injuries and has been ruled an accident, Harshbarger stated in a release.

Winston was the only occupant in the vehicle, according to the crash report.
