Missing 88-year-old Tipp City man with dementia found safe

An Endangered Missing Adult Alert was canceled Friday afternoon after a missing Tipp City man with dementia was found safe.

Joe Newnam, 88, was last seen at 8:11 p.m. Thursday when he left a Weller Drive restaurant in Tipp City but did not return home.

The alert was canceled shortly after 3 p.m. Friday. He was found by law enforcement in another jurisdiction, according to Tipp City police.
