Man missing from assisted living community in Xenia found safe in Indianapolis

A 61-year-old man with dementia and other health concerns missing for about two weeks from a Xenia assisted living center has been found safe, authorities said Tuesday afternoon.

An Endangered Missing Adult Alert was issued Aug. 25 for Gregory Leroy Riley, who drove away from Hillside Assisted Living on Rogers Street in Xenia in a red pickup truck belonging to the facility and did not return.

The red 1989 Ford F-150 that was reported stolen was found Saturday in Indianapolis, but at the time Riley was still missing.

A family member found Riley Tuesday in Indianapolis in “good health,” Xenia police said.
