Sellers also faces an obstruction charge and a misdemeanor for failure to comply with an order or signal of a police officer.
Sellers was indicted Jan. 27 on one count of rape by a Montgomery County grand jury. A warrant for Sellers’ arrest was issued following his indictment, but he was not arrested and did not appear at his arraignment in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court, according to the prosecutor’s office. Sellers now is scheduled to appear Thursday for the rape case in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court.
