A Nissan Maxima was headed south on North Main Street approaching West Melford Avenue and in the intersection went left of center and hit an Infiniti headed north on North Main Street, according to a release from the sheriff’s office.
The driver of the Infiniti suffered minor injuries, and the driver of the Nissan fled the crash in an unknown direction.
The crash remains under investigation.
