Police: Dayton man seriously injured in Neal Avenue shooting

A 27-year-old man was seriously injured in a weekend shooting reported outside his home in Dayton.

Dayton police and medics were called around 11:20 p.m. Saturday to the 820 block of Neal Avenue, according to a Dayton police report.

The gunshot victim was taken to a local hospital, where his condition was not immediately known.

Police also found suspected illegal drugs at the scene, according to the report.

Dayton police are continuing to investigate the shooting.
