No injuries reported after door shot at Dayton gas station

No injuries were reported in Dayton late Tuesday after the door of a gas station was shot.

A worker at the Speedway gas station at 1556 Huffman Ave. called 911 shortly before midnight to report the shots fired.

“Somebody just shot out our glass,” she said. “Someone was outside shooting inside the store.”

The worker could be heard asking people if they were all right before telling 911 dispatchers that everyone was OK.

She was ringing up a customer when the shots were fired and wasn’t able to see who did it.

“I was just standing at the register and I heard a loud pop, like a bang,” she said. “The glass in the front door broke and I told everyone to get down.”
