A 71-year-old man hit by an SUV in Dayton Thursday night was taken to the hospital with possible minor injuries.

The man was in the crosswalk at Brown Street and Irving Avenue around 9 p.m. when he was hit by a 2012 GMC Terrain, according to a crash report.

The driver of the GMC was turning left onto Brown when she hit the man.

The woman told police that she didn’t see the man in the crosswalk, according to the report.

A 911 caller said the man was up and walking, but was bleeding, according to dispatch records.

The man was taken to Miami Valley Hospital with suspected minor injuries.
