Wright State University will be closed Tuesday, but there is no change to its remote learning school, the university announced. All in-person classes and activities are canceled, but remote, online and flexible delivery classes will continue as scheduled.
Essential WSU employees who physically work on campus should work remotely is possible and check with their supervisor. Faculty and staff working remotely will work as scheduled.
WSU is schedule to reopen physically at 6:59 a.m. on Wednesday.
Sinclair Community College announced Monday that all campuses will be closed. However, all online courses will go on as scheduled and employees will work remotely if able to do so, the college announced.
Wilberforce University’s campus also will be closed today, with all classes virtual, the university announced Monday.
Dayton Municipal Court will delay opening its doors until noon Tuesday.
Wright-Patterson Fair Force Base announced Monday night it will be closed Tuesday to all but mission-essential personnel, which is the second such closure since Feb. 9 due to snow. Telework employees will continue to work from home, and those employees who must report are to use Gates 12A and 19B only, the 88th Air Base Wing posted on social media.
Preble County commissioners have closed offices in the courthouse on Tuesday, which also includes Preble County Job & Family Services and the Preble County Title Office. The Preble County Landfill will remain open under normal hours, county officials said.
The Montgomery County Solid Waste District is open Tuesday, but is operating with reduced services. The Transfer Station and Mixed Recycling Drop-Off will be open during its normal hours from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.
However, the Yard Waste Drop-Off and Household Hazardous Waste Collection is closed.
The MCSWD plans to operate as normal on Wednesday. The next scheduled Household Hazardous Waste Collection is on Feb. 20 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
All branches of the Dayton Metro Library are closed Tuesday.
