Vehicle strikes adult, 13-year-old in Dayton; Juvenile to be flown to Columbus

An adult and a 13-year-old were injured in a pedestrian crash reported at 3:01 a.m. in the 2000 block of Catalpa Drive.

Montgomery County Regional Dispatch records said the adult was taken to Miami Valley Hospital, while the 13-year-old was taken to Dayton Children’s Hospital. However, medics were preparing the send the 13-year-old via CareFlight to medical facilities in Columbus.

Emergency crews are on the scene.
