911 caller says Dayton stabbing victim was pregnant

A woman was taken to the hospital and police are searching for the suspect after a reported stabbing early Thursday at the Summit Square Apartments in Dayton.

Emergency crews were dispatched just before 12:30 a.m. to the 700 block of Summit Square Drive, according to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center.

Dispatch records said that the 911 caller said a man stabbed her pregnant niece.

The suspect fled before police arrived, records said.

Medics took a woman to Miami Valley Hospital, though her condition is unclear.
