Mizner is being held in the Randolph County Jail and faces preliminary charges of murder, robber and assisting a criminal.
On Thursday, Terry J. Durbin, of New Carlisle, Ind., was arrested in connection Cheadle's death, according to officials of the Randolph County Sheriff's Office.
Durbin was arrested Thursday afternoon on North Main Street in Winchester, Ind.
Durbin was also charged with robbery.
Cheadle's body was found Nov. 3 in a van parked on Elm Street in Greenville.
Information obtained by investigators led them to a rural Randolph County home that is now believed to be the site of the homicide.
A sister of Cheadle, Patrica Richards of Ansonia, contacted Thursday evening by telephone said, "Detectives asked that the family not talk about the case with the media." She did indicate that she was glad an arrest was made and praised law enforcement for their efforts. She also thanked News Center 7 for our coverage in the homicide investigation.
Durbin is also being held in the Randolph County Jail.
According to Randolph County Sheriff Major Todd Dunn, "A person convicted of murder must be imprisoned for a fixed term between 45 and 65 years. Robbery, as a class 'A' felony in Indiana, carries a fixed term of imprisonment between 20 and 50 years upon conviction."
Durbin was supposed to be arraigned in a Randolph County Circuit Court on Friday, but the judge granted a state motion for continuance for 72 hours. He will appear back in court on Nov. 18 at 2:15 p.m.
