Amar India goes north to open its 2nd Dayton-area restaurant

Amar India has opened a second location, this one serving the northern half of Montgomery County.

The new Amar India is now open at 7070 Miller Lane, Suite 106, in Butler Twp. The restaurant is located just north of the main "restaurant row" of eateries adjacent to I-75, in the Miller Commons strip retail center that also houses Flamingo Tan, Liquid Nics, Hearing Solutions and a Verizon Wireless retail store.

The original Amar India is located at 2751 Miamisburg-Centerville Road near the Dayton Mall in Miami Twp. in southern Montgomery County. Its owner, Surjit Singh Mattu, also operates Jeet India restaurant in Beavercreek.

Hours of the new Miller Lane Amar India are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch and 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. for dinner Monday through Saturday. The restaurant is closed Sunday.
